We have had three noticeable events During the life of the Club. The first two being held at our venue on a Saturday.

The first was a ‘Micro Design Day’ a specific desktop publishing program for the PCW. This was very successful with several vendors and a Micro Design Club setting up stall. There was a good turn out by the general public but most importantly everybody enjoyed themselves.

The second was also well attended and enjoyable. This was a General Amstrad PCW day we were pleased that major software distributors had stalls. Perhaps this was an early indication that the PCW was coming to the end of its life.

The last event was when we set up a stall at a computer fair held in Crawley. The Idea was to try and attract new members and although there was a lot of interest shown we only gained one new member. Never the less it was still a most enjoyable day because we met a lot of interesting people.

A manual for one the PCW programs was being explained.
